Chain excavator ramming sheet piles

On 16.05.2019 the VSVI conducted a site inspection of the B 33 new Allensbach – Constance planned by us. The new B 33 should improve the regional traffic connection of Constance and reduce the traffic volume in the communities.
The successive 4-lane extension of the almost 11 km long line was divided into different sections. The aim of the tour was section E. The heart of this section is a 450m long tunnel.

Construction work is in full progress – sheet piles are currently being driven into the ground with chain excavators.
